Cinematographer Profile: Lisa EdwardsA couple of years living in New Orleans followed, then in 2006 my brother's Florida dive shop, Fill Express, beckoned from Pompano Beach. I work in a variety of roles for the dive shop and it's sister company, Dive Rite Express, but my primary function is as product photographer. Fortunately, living in South Florida means lots of year round dive time in an area with great reefs and numerous wrecks just a few minutes from shore. Since 2006, I have been diving the Dive Rite O2ptima closed circuit rebreather and have logged hundreds of dives on it, primarily in local waters, but in the Caribbean as well. A rebreather is ideally suited for getting close to marine life and for shooting underwater video, but also for doing deep technical diving. For most of these dives, I have carried a Sony HDR-HC3 in a Seatool housing, which has accompanied me to 300 feet on the Cayman walls! For editing, I have both Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Studio 2. All this diving has resulted in a large underwater video library of a variety of subjects, from close-ups of shrimp and crabs to wide-angle shots of large goliath groupers, from shallow recreational wrecks to deep technical wrecks, and from shallow reefs to the deep walls in the Caymans. My website at www.LEDiveVideo.com has short video clips of some of the popular dive sites found off of Pompano Beach.
