Overview
All preview and master footage is available for purchase online, with delivery on tape, CD/DVD, or by download.
Add Clips to Order
To order preview or master footage, add the desired clips to your Cart. Add clips to your Cart by clicking the Add to Cart link on the Search Results or Clipbin page.
Clip Price
Each clip in our library is priced by the cinematographer. Overall,
prices are based on originating format and rarity of footage. All clips
are sold per second, with a 10 second minimum. The total price of the
desired footage is determined by the use and distribution territory
of the production. For more information about pricing view the Pricing

Order Preview Clips
OceanFootage allows clients to download Quicktime Preview Clips at no charge (Sorenson 320x240, 25-30 frames per second). The preview download option above is NOT available for Academic Use or for any Public Display. To enable your free download, you must first register with OceanFootage, then add the desired clips to your Cart. Then simply select the View Cart link and choose Order Preview Clips. Once your order has been reviewed, we will forward you a link which will allow you to download the preview clips. You can also choose to order up to 25 full-frame (MPEG-2 or DV) watermarked preview clips for $50 with delivery via download. These preview clips are ideal for offline editing on a non-linear editing system for in-house review. You can also request preview footage with timecode burn on a VHS tape or DVD for $75.
Order Master Footage:
Place the clips you wish to purchase into your Order. View the selected
clips available for purchase on the Order page. Click on the 'Purchase Master
Footage' link to begin the ordering process.
Step 1: Delivery Format Selection
Choose the format for the clips to be delivered.
Step 2: Pricing and Usage
Enter your production title.
Select your production category from the pull down menu.
Choose the appropriate licensing use and territory.
Enter duration requested (minimum 10 seconds per clip purchased).
Select recalculate price.
Step 3: Billing Information
Enter your billing information.
Enter your shipping information.
Step 4: Final Confirmation
Confirm your order.
Download license agreement.
Accept license agreement.
Step 5: Fully Executed License
A representative will contact you to confirm your project title, intended
use, and territory. The representative will then forward to you a final
invoice for signature.
Download Master Footage
Master footage is available in any tape format, or for download as a QuickTime file using the DV codec. You will be directed to a password protected download page, and will have 72 hours to download your footage. Footage can also be available in any digital format for additional lab fees.
